As part of the event I LIKE PARMA is on the occasion of the autumn days of the FAI, today, tomorrow is next weekend, there are countless opportunities to visit places that are often closed to the public or less known. This is the case of the renovated Cloister of the Church of Sant’Uldarico

An unexpected gem. Unfortunately rarely open to the public

The church of San uldarico is located in the center of Parma. The structure dates back to the year 1000. The facade is simple, painted by a beautiful rosette, with precise lines. The interior has a single nave, with a simple 16th century longitudinal plan with references to the Baroque. The features to note are: - the beautiful tiles of the via crucis, carved and painted by Trombara; - the painted or decorated side chapels; - the ceiling with baroque stuccos, in a simple blue background. Free entry.

Ancient church of around 1400 in Parma in via Farini, beautiful interior of the church, and magnificent cloister on its left side. from the entrance, with a freshly restored fresco depicting the image of St. Francis of Assisi. The authentic entrance door of the church has just been restored. Here you can breathe an air of old.
