The only baroque church remained in Ferrara. Fantastic with its octagonal A must to visit and to photograph. The imposing facade, within the four were housed marble statues of St. Charles Borromeo, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Ambrose and St. Augustine; because of the Emilia earthquake of 2012 the four statues have been removed for security reasons

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to visit the baroque church of San Carlo with the coat of arms of Cardinal Carlo Pio of Savoy and the statues of the saints Carlo Borromeo, Agostino, Antonio da Padova and Ambrogio
