Church of Saint Mary 'Nuova' and Saint Blaise

Don Renzo is very good and the church is very pretty. It is almost the only one that in Ferrara has kept its party (that of San Biagio) as it used to be, with bacarelle and fishing

Among the oldest churches in Ferrara, where inside there is the crypt with the tombs of the Fam. Alighieri. Outside there is an ancient phrase by Dante Alighieri. Very characteristic is the blessing of the throat for the patron saint, San Biagio on 3 February.

A beautiful church, however, very full of people only in the big parties and very empty during the days of the year, it is a real pity to remember the Lord only on holidays.
