A very ancient Catholic church whose origins date back to the dark period of the wars of conquest between the French and the Germans (1618 - 1648). Tradition has it that the Germanic army that came from Verona was set back in front of a capital of the Madonna; the population of San Giovanni Lupatoto, by way of thanksgiving for this event and why the plague disappeared, decided to build a church right there where the capital was located and in the same church the fresco of the Madonna was placed.

Never hated is a sacred place, and of its own recollection.

The church of the Madonnina is one of the few historical monuments left in the village. Built in the Baroque period. It is guarded by don Luigi, an enlightened person, who has always hosted me in case of rehearsals or preview of concerts, to test the feasibility of music programs. The acoustics are very generous, not suitable for profane or sacred music full of phrasing and notes. With the Canto Fratto group we are wondering. Harp and pinches sound good. There is no organ. Small sacristy. Not very hot in winter. Parking quite comfortable, if you find a place.
