I want to tell our experience with Blupet! About a year ago my partner and I decided to buy a pair of budgies, where under the advice of a dear friend of mine we go to Blupet, where she assures us to find the best, as she is already a customer. Let's go to the shop, very kind and friendly staff apparently. We buy everything from them, cage, sand, feed, nest, and two beautiful parakeets, a male and a female. After several months (winter) we begin to see color changes in the sissy, not being experts and seeing her in full health we think it's a matter of growth, hormones, being small in age. After a year (their first summer) we start to have doubts not having mated yet. We go to the shopkeeper where we bought the budgies and he immediately tells us that the dear girl is actually a boy, or rather both boys. Absolute disappointment. For heaven's sake it can happen, but if they weren't sure of the sex of the budgie being small, the budgie could also speak out and recommend a budgie that maybe there was more certainty about sex. They offer us their apologies as it is their mistake. We therefore decide with regret to make a change (at no additional cost) to take a girl instead of a boy. I take a sissy with ruined nostrils, I ask for explanations (I am told "it's normal, she's fine, it will be the hormones"). Meanwhile, as we are leaving, we entrust our two budgies to Blupet for a week (as we have always done, when we had to travel). We have always been satisfied every time we went to collect them, clean, sanitized, in good shape, and at a good price. This time .. I tell you what happened: we go into the shop to collect the parakeets and we find a dirty cage and we ask to clean it before taking them (but the boy only takes away the feed, the water, and changes the sand. Without cleaning the perches dirty with excrement). I go to pay, always 10 days but this time they ask me for more .. I can't find myself but it doesn't matter I pay and thank you! We return home, finally happy to have a male and a female. After 5 days I begin to notice that the parakeets have nocturnal discomfort, they are full of mites with the whole cage full. A real nightmare. I go to the veterinarian where he asks me for a bang of money for various pesticide sessions. Very desperate, I ask the shopkeeper to take back the cocoes for this problem, of course he says no! I have never had this problem, at home I clean them every day, always very clean and fragrant. Now I find myself parasites in the house, thanks to the hygiene that was not there for them in the shop. Thank you so much! Now I'm terrified of entrusting my coco to other people. Endless disappointment, not for the money but for what my poor cocoes are going through.
