Disappointing, not up to par. I moved from Rome to Civitanova Marche for about two years and after trying 5 psychiatrists I still can't find a qualified one. Overall I had 4 meetings with him for the "modest" sum of 100 euros each. I immediately informed him that I could not afford such a cost every week (also because we go to the psychiatrist / neurologist about once a month, exclusively to correct the drug therapy), and so after making me take a psychological test, (this also handsomely paid), he simply proposed me to do psychotherapy with him rather than continuing over time, as usual in all psychiatric therapies, to modify the drugs. I have been dealing with psychologists and psychiatrists for many years and sincerely a psychiatrist / neurologist who after 4 sessions himself suddenly reveals himself as a psychologist claiming that without psychological therapy he does not carry out psychiatric therapy - therefore implicitly trying to force me to increase the frequency of meetings at an exorbitant price - I certainly do not like it, (I stress and repeat that only in our last meeting , after spent time and money on visits and tests, he informed me that he ALSO specialized in psychology, expressing his intention to transform the nature of the meetings - very expensive - from above all psychiatric to above all psychological, with a relative increase in the frequency of visits and, obviously, the related costs). But let's say that for a moment I wanted to accept his proposal to change the nature of the race report and increase the frequency of visits: this would have been impossible for me anyway because in no way Mr. Scataglini, noting my personal and economic situation several times, never came to meet me, perhaps also offering weekly appointments but in any case at a lower and acceptable price (100 euros per person) even sitting in Rome I never paid them for psychological meetings). Normally in fact, in the psychological field, from the second visit onwards, an agreement is also sought with the economic patient, with the shared goal of meeting one another, while in this case, always and repeatedly, it never is his willingness to lower, even slightly, his economic claims emerged. For him then - this is his response to my grievances - either psychotherapy was done with him for that amount «or else - these are his precise ones words - I have nothing else to add ». In conclusion: after my explicit and definitive refusal to accept him as a psychologist for the above reasons he stopped out of the blue to talk to me, making me pay the usual 100 euros and taking my leave. He also abandoned me to me himself with a therapy he modified without even wanting to tell me - after having explicitly asked him - how continue it in the interregnum between him and another doctor. Fortunately, soon after, I found another psychiatrist from Civitanova who turned out to be gifted with a tall one degree of humanity and availability that in Mr. Scataglini unfortunately, during our meetings, I absolutely could not find.
