The church was once the parish church of Grecchia, but due to a landslide it had become unusable. Then between the 70s and 80s it was completely restored. A second landslide, however, caused its definitive collapse. Now only the damaged bell tower remains, but above all the place is not followed by anyone. The vegetation has invaded both the ruins of the church and the access road, therefore it is advisable to observe the bell tower from the edge of the provincial road above
