Chiesa di San Carlo

Formerly a monastery of the Augustinian nuns founded in 1634 and conservatory of women since 1787. In the church with a simple linear brick façade with low windows, the single nave and a diffuse internal decoration of proto-baroque taste, in which the stucco decorations dominate, on the main altar there is a 1620-25 painting by Francesco Rustici, known as the Rustichino, depicting the Madonna with Child and the Saints Carlo Borromeo, Francesco, Chiara, Caterina da Siena and Giovanni Battista.
