Corsignano

A beautiful chirch close to Pienza.

Amazing, must see like all places in Tuscany. Old and dark and almost empty Church. Romanian building. Near to this Church You can park your car and go take a picture like in final scene in The Gladiator.

You can find some fantastic pre-christian symbols in this little church: like fertility goddesses, serpents whispering in people's ears symbolizing ancestors speaking to us. It is a little gem!!

We came all the way from Atlanta, GA for a wedding at this church and it did not disappoint. The setting was amazing. The history is also something not to be forgotten. I would love to revisit. Be aware that parking could be tough if there is a large crowd there.

Pienza, probably my favorite Tuscan town but then again, I've only visited about a dozen of them out of probably 100! If you go to Tuscany, Pienza has to be on your list. Relatively low amount of Tourists (for Tuscan standards), but stuff is still expensive. Still, it has a peaceful and relaxing vibe to it, so no complaints here.
