Antichi Sapori Di Pienza S.R.L.

I left Rome with my girlfriend to visit Val d'Orcia these last days of June and, of all the places we shot, this small shop in Pienza hit us. The lady who served us was not kind, more, advising us in the choice of products, making us so comfortable that we stay in there to have a chat with her, discovering her I am not an excellent worker but also a transparent and true soul ! I conclude in a very obvious way ... a hyper-recommended place both from a gastronomic and a "human" point of view.

It is always a pleasure to take a tour in Pienza, but now that we cannot move fortunately you can buy it online! My favorite pecorino and two packs of pici arrived today. All perfect thanks a lot

Nothing to complain about the store and the reception but, as far as the company is concerned, my review is unfortunately negative. Last year I bought some products including the famous "Pici" with the intent to dull friends invited to lunch. The result was disappointing because the pasta literally shattered in the dishes although I had followed the recipe to the letter. Further disappointment when I sent an email to the company with lots of photos and my personal contact details, without receiving any kind of feedback. Too bad because I had so much boasted their products.

Unexpectedly, in a place so full of tourists, the owner of this grocery store has maintained the authenticity of our Italian villages. Normal prices, a chat as it used to be, excellent local products. Pici are a must, of course. I advise!

Heartwarming welcome. The lady who served us is very nice, efficient and has a good sense of humor. Pecorino cheeses are very tasty and tasty and wild boar sausage is also excellent. Run there .....
