Mercatò Big

The market is outside the main town of Alba, making it essy to get to. The car park is expansive and includes both outdoor and undercover parking. The range of goods is expansive and includes both fresh and packaged goods. Pretty much anything that you need for your household can be obtained here and I found both the quality and range of goods to be very good.

Big store as the name implies with a fairly good selection of veggies, wine, meat and the likes. Always understaffed when it comes to paying but ample parking. Probably the biggest store in the Alba region.

Not a bad place to be on the whole- you can shop for food or home and more, as well as get a decent meal in one place, but the WiFi is not free, not exactly. Free WiFi would not require you to share your mobile number in my opinion. The trolleys are made of recycled materials, which is very cool.

"Il Gigante", an America-style supermarket, is the anchor to this indoor mall, with a few other cafes and stores. Parking is under the mall, so protected from the elements. Wheelchair-friendly, there is an escalator which is really a moving ramp. The supermarket has a wide variety of items, a good way to set up house if you are staying locally.
