Very interesting and exciting experience to visit an Italian cemetery where all the tombstones are so immensely decorated and lavish. Partly in the stone itself which is powerful and lavish but also statues on top of them. Almost all graves also have a photograph of the person who is buried. Even more interesting is what you as a Scandinavian might think is a chapel is a mausoleum museum where a person or a family has their own grave.
