I went back to the hermitage, it was a long time since I went there the other day (26 August 2020) The hermitage can be reached on foot from the square below, via a steep and steep path for a stretch, or even from the Balze, always on foot via another path that is indicated on CAI maps. From the square below, on 29 August, the day of the liturgical feast of Sant 'Alberico, the mercy of Alfero - Balze, carries out the transport service of people who have mobility difficulties to the hermitage through an off-road vehicle (attention, the hermitage can be reached only by authorized persons, not by anyone). The hermitage is surrounded by nature, surrounded by a beautiful forest. Outside there is a vast space for prayer and personal meditation, the church is very small but welcoming. During the feast the holy masses are celebrated almost all outdoors, solemn is that of 11 am celebrated by the diocesan bishop (Diocese of Cesena - Sarsina), the others are at 8 - 9.30 and in the afternoon at 16, preceded by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 3.30 pm. You can also stay in the hermitage, for a period of reflection, but you must agree with the hermit. From the first Sunday in May to the last Sunday in September, Holy Mass is celebrated at 4 pm, preceded by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 3.30 pm (Holy Mass is celebrated only on Sundays and public holidays). In the hermitage, the hermits Don Quintino Secured (whose cause for beatification is in progress), brother Vincenzo Minutello and brother Michele Falzone are buried. Relaxing place, surrounded by greenery. Very fresh. Steep climb to reach the hermitage, not suitable for people with disabilities. Place of silence and prayer.
