Went to update bank book with my mum who lives in Jamaica and has account there for 30+ years. Bank over crowded with long queues. Stood in queue for customer service for over 1 hour. Only one member of staff on desk dealing with queries who was also answering telephone and giving out tickets for other queue. After standing around so long was waste of time as despite bringing paperwork to update name on book was told they needed paper evidence of national insurance number to make change. I live in UK so now have to wait till I can afford to return to JA again. On the positive the security staff were brilliant and very helpful with making my elderly mum comfortable and finding her a seat during the long wait.
