Xye Resort- Cottages On The Beach

My experience at XYE was exceptional! From the Bonfire themed Thursday nights to my special birthday celebration and then as a guest for a few days; the staff was honestly top notch and quite frankly has restored my faith in Jamaican customer service. The food was as beautifully plated as it was mouth wateringly exquisite (and it didn't matter if I was having a Jamaican classic Ackee and Saltfish, spicy Jerk Pork or an omelet). My room was gorgeous and the views were to die for. I spent hours luxuriating in the ambiance of XYE; either just looking out at the gorgeous crystal blue sea, enjoying the  glorious carress of the water or simply listening to the waves crash on the shore as I buried my toes in the famous white sands of the Negril coast line; All with the lively vibrant backdrop of Jamaican music that was a constant at XYE. I felt at home and genuinely like family. All good things must come to an end but to quote one of the managers at XYE, "You cannot return if you never leave".

Enjoyed my time n stay here. Ms Lorna was amazing with hospitality and made our stay feel like home. She even had put me onto tropical grapes. Had never had them yet they were pretty good.!!!! Thank you!!!

be careful - we and also other tourists had many problems with the local overseer of the bar. always write down, what drinks you have and always check the billing. my hint: better use other places at the beach ....
