This place is top notch. From the Butler Ryan, to Chef Austin, Dale the pool manager, Shavel and Eon. Mr. Pitt the driver. It was great right there on the beach. I will definitely be back!

I reserved an ocean view King suit for 6 days in Feb 2020, via Booking.com. Idle Awhile (not Booking) sent a confirmation email, complete with their acknowledgement of the reservation. Two days later, the hotel emailed me with the news that the room we booked was “unavailable “. They offered a room at The Cliffs, which I declined. I asked the hotel for an explanation about the cancellation, told them I was very unhappy, and asked for a Villa reservation. NO REPLY. The Idle Awhile staff is incompetent and unbelievably rude. Zero stars if possible.

My family and friends stayed at the Almond Villa this November 2020. We were a group of 8. -I'd like to start with how safe we felt with the COVID safety precautions the island has enforced! Jamaica has gone above and beyond to protect their people and tourist. -Going back to the Almond Villa in the Idle Awhile property, I can't say enough to explain our satisfaction. We were greeted with a cold beverage on our arrival. The house is amazing and extremely comfortable. Our assigned staff were Raquel and Aldean. They took care of every detail, scheduled a little fishing tour for us, and were very attentive. The food was delicious! We will be requesting their services on our next trip. -There was additional staff at the beach keeping an eye on us and our belongings while we were in the water. -I highly recommend this property and will definitely be staying with them in the future. You can't beat the location. Almond Villa is literally steps away from the beach in 7 mile beach and the view is amazing! Thanks again, Raquel and Aldean!
