Doc's Wellness Center

Great wellness center! Definitely got well. Enjoyed everything they have to offer. Fun bar and bartender. Awesome little sea water infinity pool. Lounge chairs. All for free. Sweet little spot to spend a chill day in negril!

The resort and staff are incredible. Beautiful location on the water. Our room faced the water so we always had the ocean in sight. The entire staff is super friendly and went out of their way for us a couple of times during our stay. Our room and the entire property was very clean and comfortable. After reading older reviews, you can tell they have really worked on upgrading amenities in the guest rooms(the shower is nice!). But hey, you're in Jamaica and shouldn't be in your room for very long, anyway. The rooftop bar is very comfortable. They have a connecting lounge area on the adjoining roof to relax and see the sights. Mixed drinks are kind of limited, but we were assured they were continuously improving things, so this time next year, we might be enjoying frozen drinks with big umbrellas in them :) They threw a party one night during our stay. They had a DJ and the chef grilled some jerk chicken. We left the party earlier than everyone, but was not disturbed by the music in our room. Their chef is wonderful. Don't order the typical eggs and bacon for breakfast... have them cook you a Jamaican breakfast. You wont be disappointed. They have a driver onsite. He does have other responsibilities on site, so you may have to wait. He took us to the Blue Hole, and gave us the scenic tour on the way back. Taxis are easy to get. As soon as you step off property, look for a vehicle with a red plate. They will probably see you first and wave for you. Restaurants, ice cream, coffee shops are all within walking distance. It's super laid back. Don't come expecting everything to be handled as soon as you ask. Make sure your body is on Island time. Your coffee might come in 3 minutes ... it might come in 30. No worries! I can't say enough about the hospitality. Every staff member we spoke with were always making sure we were having a good time. Thank you for a wonderful mini vacation!

Great hospitality! Everyone is super nice! The food is excellent! The shef is a master! The best ackee and salt fish I've had in Ja. Got well, wow! (Its a wellness center)

Doc's Place is a great place to relax. Johann is an amazing host and has turned out to be one of my best friends. A brother from another mutha. 😁 Enzo and Tosh the two dogs onsite are sweet hearts and are a joy to be around. If you are looking for the true Jamaican experience, visit Doc's place.
