Errol's Sunset Cafe

Beautiful location on a quiet section towards the end of 7 mile beach. The entrance off the road is easy to miss and looks a little rough around the edges with the cottage rentals, but once you park and walk through the courtyard area you’ll be greeted with a breathtaking view of the ocean. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as bar service in the shade of a small open air seating area directly on the beach. We came for breakfast and although service was a little slow, the food was good and authentic Jamaican. They also had a very comfortable hammock to lay in. If you are looking for just a quiet spot to relax on a soft white sand beach for the day with food and bar service away from the tourist crowds, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a 4 or 5 star resort this place isn’t it.

Very friendly owner, who was our first point of contact after our first night: we had jetlag and were awake at 6 ... After the restaurant never sleeps, we were lucky: we were served coffee and a decent breakfast! Basically we felt very comfortable here - we kept coming back because we felt safe and in good hands here! You can trust the tips of the owner, which is a specialty (otherwise you will be excluded as a tourist like a goose). Important and at least recommended for all of Jamaica: always have Jamaica dollars ready and the right amount - there is never any remaining money ...
