Dolphin Cove Moon Palace Jamaica

It was always a dream of mine to swim with dolphins and I finally got to at Dolphin Cove! The staff was so friendly and the photographs were amazing- worth every penny! You can tell the dolphins love to please! They were so happy. Amazing experience!

Wow! We had the best experience. We would do it again. We got to interact and swim with the dolphins. The staff was so friendly and fun! We had so much fun and created the best memories!

My recent trip to Moon Palace was amazing. I had visited for one night back in February. However, for this trip I stayed from July 31 - August 4. The Covid sanitation measures were excellent. They had a sanitation mat as you enter, and your hands were sprayed. Temperature checked twice, once at the gate and again before check in. At the check in, each station had up barriers and all staff wore their masks along with all the guest.. The breakfast area was done a la carte due to Covid, so this time around, the wait time for the food was increased slightly. However, our waiter Dalton was amazing. We went to the pool and our server Shanie was super amazing as well.. we had dinner in Pier 8 which does seafood and steak.. my petite steak was done medium well and it was heaven.. The Gondala Italian restaurant was also great and our server was wonderful. If you go there try their Bellini and the Pappardelle with lamb ragu was so delicious. We spent a few nights having a night cap in the martini bar where Sabrina served us and made us feel so welcomed.. The ambiance was nice and I’d recommend the chocolate, lychee and coconut martini.... Now to the rooms, no one enters your room even if you call for room service, or to have your fridge restocked. They stay at the door (fully covered in gloves and masks) while you take the trays and unpack etc.. the rooms are clean and upon entering the room, there is a seal on each door indicating it was sanitized before you go in. If the seal isn’t there that room has not been cleaned to Covid measures. Despite not having all the amenities because of the Covid measures, Moon Palace lives up to their 4 diamond ratings in my book.. from the sushi bar to the boulangerie and everything in between like the games room and the glass bottom tour... I really enjoyed my time there and I look forward to visiting again.

This made me sad and anxious to see. I would never ever pay to swim with dolphins like this. The area they live in is tiny and it just feels wrong. All of it.

Dolphins should be free, not captured for people entertainment!
