JN Bank

Not short of customer service representatives and they are very polite and will make some effort to help ,however the system needs a complete overhaul ,as it is designed to discouraged prospective account holders from the Diaspora. Too much documents is required by JN just to open a simple account. Should not be so difficult and complicated, everyone I spoke to is discouraged by this The sad thing I heard the other Jamaican banks are the same. In this present era some one needs to take the lead and make innovative changes or if it is the regulatory framework that govern the banks they needs to be some streamline Or they can just wait for SQUARE or some new innovative banking system to take away the business Food for thought

I have recieved just 30 usd dollars from overseas and up to now it is not reflecting on my account i called them and has been on hold for so long and i was told that processing agency has hold on to the funds because they want proof of nationality for the sender etc. I sent what they ask for by email and it has been 2 and a half weeks now i still cannot recieve the 30 dollars to my account. I have called and every time is another excuse after being held on hold for the longest time. They are very unreasonable and service is poor!!!!

The Mortgage Department needs restructuring. The staff there seriously needs to pay attention to details. My mailing address changed in 2007 - in 2012 they sent mails to the address PRIOR to 2007 while still sending mails to the updated address. Last year, the same thing happened and last month, it happened again as well as 2 incorrect name spelling. Mailing address is confirmed yet sensitive mails go to outdated addresses. It's very frustrating having to deal with the bank.

Good customer service.

Of my many years of service this is the first time I had to call and it was very challenging. I’ve been on hold for approximately 30 minutes just to ask a simple question. I love this bank but was very disappointed being in queue for so long.
