Kingston Public Hospital (K.P.H.)

Customer service is S#!T!!!! I cannot speak to all ward nurses, but many of them are unconcienable and without empathy. Some PCAs are there to hustle so they ignore patients who don't "grease palms" or are too much for them to handle. In my view, dem and the nurse dem operate the same S#!TTY way. Why get in the field if you know you don't like customer service or ailing people? The doctors are attentive when they come around, they listen to patients' concerns and answers the questions of family members and patients and try their best at actioning the best treatment option, unlike the doctors at UHWI. The doctors at KPH are actually caring and compassionate, not cold and callous like some of the nurses and PCAs.

not a bad waiting period. Nurses in the A&E were wonderful, student doctors need to be more attentive they talk too much.

The most horrible medical experience I’ve ever encountered. Most of the doctors and nurses and nursing assistants were rude, miserable, had bad attitudes and ignored my loved one and I when I wanted help. They had NO empathy, no sympathy. They ignored my cries for help. All the nurses do is sit at the nurses station and look into space (and put on digicel credit and ignore you as your loved one lies there and dies) There was only ONE doctor and ONE nurse who seemed to care. I would need a whole web page to write about my experience at this place!!! To make a long story short, if you fall ill just stay at home because with the healthcare “professionals” at this place you’re just about dead!!!

KPH is the best in free health care, boasting experience health care workers and medical practitioners.

What a nightmare! My mother was admitted there 4 days ago the doctor has time to talk to us. The nurses have bad attitude. There is no air conditioning. Patients in respiratory distress and no air Conditioner on the ward. My mother is on the 2B ward it is filthy. This is a humanitarian disgrace. Dr. Robinson where did you get a medical license! Did you purchase it. He has no clue has to what is going on with my mother. The Internist point her finger in my face. A dirty nasty place that is only fit for dogs!
