Lakeview Manor B&B Moneague

Enjoyed so many beautiful sunsets here during my nearly year-long stay with the Gentles. Really great and supportive family. Felt totally safe and cared for the entire time. Close drive to Ochi and other cool spots in the area to explore! Oh and the food is amazing!

This place is nestled in the cool community of Moneague. The facilities are beautifully done. My room was to the back of the property overlooking the pool. It felt like home. The furnitures are very nice, the bathroom was neat and very convenient. Loved the shower head, it was like I was at one of the hotels in Ocho Rios except the price was very affordable. The owners were very friendly. In fact, Mr. Gentles (one of the co-owners) joined me when I was going to jog in the community. That was very thoughtful of him. One of the mornings I decided that I would not go jogging because I had to get to a early meeting and to my surprise he brought me resistant bands to exercise. The have poured their energies and resources to make this place very comfortable. I would give them 10🌟 if I could. I definitely plan to go back when I am next in the area.

We came here for a mini-honeymoon not knowing what to expect as it is off the beaten track. Located in a housing development in rural Jamaica (Moneague), Lakeview Manor is one of those pleasant surprises. The BnB or homestay market is wide open with an equally wide variety of properties available. Lakeview Manor offers a quiet getaway from the bright lights of the city. Yet, it is close enough to Ocho Rios for those needing some night life. Lakeview Manor is a work in progress but one that offers such an exceptional level of customer service. Our suite was extremely comfortable with only one glitch which I'm sure the owners will sort out asap. They are that kind of people/proprietors. For the approximate three days that we were here, it was heaven. We were pampered, feted and celebrated by Paul and his wife, Shawn. They think of everything to please you. Tell them about your special occasion in advance and they will go all out at no extra cost! The entire family is in on the act with even the children and other family members pitching in and checking in to make sure your stay is going well. Anyone looking for a more rural, low-keyed but high on love, customer service and great Jamaican food (at very reasonable prices) should consider at least two days at Lakeview Manor.
