R Hotel Kingston

My stay was beyond poor. Please if you can stay in any of the hotels in the area please do. I really don't like writing negative reviews but when you pay your hard earned money you deserve decent custom service. It was terrible. From the start front desk was not professional. My children and I still haven't eaten anything and it's 1030 pm. We went to the restaurant to eat dinner and we were told we have to wait two hours. Since we are not from the area we didn't have any other options. Called room service no answer. The minimum I feel like we should deserve decent customer service. And this was not given to us. I'm extremely disappointed and will never stay at this establishment ever again. In addition pool was closed due to a private event and my children weren't able to use the pool.

We missed our reservation and got there between the lunch and dinner service and the chef who was about to go off duty accommodated our party of five, now that is service! The lobster and salmon were lovely...tasty and seasoned to perfection! Definitely worth a 6-star rating if ever there was one.

Decent hotel that seems unfinished at times ( for example no bottle opener, no rugs, very limited kitchen, no bar soap, no facial tissues, no ice trays). The decor is modern, but the furniture can feel a bit cheap. We stayed in a suite, the space was more than enough, but it would have been nice to have a bathroom downstairs vs having both upstairs. Staff seems very friendly and helpful. Nice touch to have balconies on both floors

Customer service was great, the overall setting and ambiance too. Rooms were very clean and fitted with all the necessities to make ones stay comfortable, from a mini fridge to a clothing iron along with its ironing board and blow-dryer. Rooftop dining is definitely worth experiencing, good food and good views

Magic in the city is how I describe it.. scrumptious meals, first class service, friendly and reliable staff, perfect ambiance.. North coast in Kingston. Immaculate rooms.. even gave me a birthday set up room. Thanks R-hotel
