The Steak House on The Verandah

I guess I should have had steak. The clams were awful. The coconut cream sauce a thick mess. The sausage saved it because it added some flavour. Bread was cold and not toasted. My daughter had the pasta with coconut cream sauce and there was a piece of salmon plunked on top. Saving grace the cosmopolitan was great

I had a great experience at the Steak House. The service was excellent, we arrived a little late so the kitchen was almost closed but the staff was patient and very pleasant. The food was also excellent: the grilled lobster was divine and the crispy chicken cordon bleu was everything. In summary I look forward to returning and I would definitely recommend!

At the Steakhouse on the Verandah (Devon House), the outdoor ambience is excellent and so very appropriate at this time. My server, Princess, was attentive, courteous and professional. For lunch I enjoyed the shrimp tempura appetizer and stuffed mushrooms and both were very good. I ordered the ribeye steak medium-well it arrived sizzling but I was disappointed that it was overcooked. It turned out to be tasty and well seasoned but overpriced at $14000. When you call yourself a steakhouse the expectations are high. Mine were not met on the Verandah

Excellent service. Waiter was obviously trained well and experienced. She was quite attentive and knowledgeable. The food was on point... quite good and properly proportioned. Complements to the Chef. Steak House on the Verandah was quite enjoyable.

The experience was a enriching one. The relaxed ambience on the verandah has a very calming vibe. The waiters were on time, courteous and very attentive. The seafood chowder rich, well flavoured, warm and delicious. I wish I had ordered a second round. The local grass fed steak was well prepared and the macaroni and cheese was my favourite. I would definitely recommend going to Steak House either for an intimate evening with your partner or with a group of friends. Also Devon House Bakery and Ice Cream Parlour are only a few steps away in case you have a sweet tooth as well.
