Renova Spa

Loved it. Staff was awesome

I stayed at the Riu Reggae from 12/20-12/25/18 and during that time I booked the Stress Cure Massage at the Renova Spa. Unfortunately, Sanique used hot stones/hot bean bags (not really sure what material it was) but it was way too hot and caused a second degree burn on the back of my leg. At first, she tried to tell me it was a sunburn but after I left a blister began to form and just continued to grow. I went to the front desk of the hotel the next morning and was told to go back to the spa because it's a separate entity - when I went to the spa there was no supervisor available to speak to. They basically apologized but said there was nothing they could do without a supervisor. I went back again and there was never anyone to speak to and I'm now in the process of disputing the charge with my credit card company. I would not recommend this spa to anyone.
