Covid protocols in place so limited number of people in office. Wait is outside in the hot sun.

Do not do business with these people. I repeat: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SCOTIABANK. Take your money to any other bank. All my money was withdrawn from my account on a Sunday afternoon while I was home and my debit card was in my purse. Thar was 3 months ago and no one seems to want to help me get it back. I have to keep calling them every week or two weeks and then each time I have to tell them the entire story all over again then I am told they will look into it. Last person I spoke with was 2 weeks ago and he only called to request I repeat my story AGAIN, as if to see if I would change it because apparently I'm the criminal here. I called the bank yesterday and a lady took my information all over AGAIN and said they would provide an update shortly. I'm still waiting for that update that I know isn't coming. I will have to call them again!!!

I went in on January 17, 2019 to open an account and many persons waiting to conduct some business. Scotia Personnel took service to the next level by assisting those waiting in order to expedite the process which saved many from waiting unnecessarily. They were refreshingly pleasant, patient and helpful every step of the way, particularly Mr Oakley and Ms Passley, even in the face of difficulties beyond their control (ie power outages). I definitely recommend that you visit this branch of the bank and that others take note of this exceptional display of good customer service. Its a non-cash branch and deposits are only made at the ATM or express dropbox. Average wait time to see the personal banking officer is about 30mins...and NOTE: THERE IS ONE TELLER! Its less crowded compared to other branch but very similar wait time.

Painful. 2019-10 experience was a 3 hour wait to see someone. That 3 hour wait was to process about 6 people ahead of me (12pm on a Wednesday).
