Morant Villa

Beautiful grounds but a shame about the accommodation. Extremely dated in urgent need of an upgrade. Rooms not spotless had to clean the dated bathroom before I use it, marks on doors, walls need painting. The beds are old with uncomfortable Matteress, washed out old bedding and sheets. Air conditioning does not work, old box 80s style TV, old and grubby floor tiles and curtains. No fridge in the room. Staff are polite and it's somewhere to rest your head but the standard is poor for a night or 2

So while the accommodations were clean and the facilities usable; the hotel itself needs an upgrade. The appliances were dated, the sheets were thin, the restaurant closed way to early to facilitate guests who check in late evenings/nights. The rooms are spacious yes but as I said it could use some paint, newer furniture and appliances and a bit more warmth to make it comfortable.

It was clean quiet cable tv hot and cold shower available nice view . No food was available on property though.

Nothing exciting....it's just a place to rest your head
