Scotia Bank has in place proper Covid 19 precoutions and protocols. Very good customer service and pleasent staff over-all

The airway for one radio programme was filled yesterday with upset customers complaining about BNS Jamaica's poor customer service. For example, one lady complained that $1,500 U.S.$ was missing from her account, BNS inability to find the error, and a response that she had to wait six months for any action to be taken. Another lady talked about a cash deposit made to her account and having to wait 5 business days to withdraw the funds. The other banks are by no means perfect, but with the many complaints today, BNS Jamaica is trending as the worse bank for customer service. The decline in customer service shows there is a breakdown of leadership and accountability. This makes one wonder...is there a bank president assigned to BNS Jamaica?

There is a lack of sending information to customers (current and potential). Been trying to open an account for my daughter and is finding it extremely difficult. I spent close to 2 hours on July 2, 2019 waiting at the Knutsford Blvd branch only to be told that I can’t be accommodated because it was too late (about 2:45). I came back to the same branch the following morning (July 3, 2019), been waiting for over 2 hours trying to open an account. I just saw a flyer in branch about making an appointment to open a deposit account. I think there should be a greater attention to potential new customers

Got excellent customer service from Miss Jodie-Ann Thomas at the Cross Roads Branch. She was very accommodating and not to mention patient. Keep up the good work Jodie!
