Forest Hills Cemetery

I called the other day, I needed some information and I talked to a sweet lady named Anna, she was so helpful and pleasant. All the people who work there are very nice! Very pretty grounds too!

Walking is allowed in this beautiful spot but not with dogs. No biking or running either. That all makes sense to me given the purpose of this lovely place.

Unfortunately the new ownership of this gorgeous cemetery has ruined things for the community. They no longer allow walking or jogging through the park in order to "ensure the atmosphere remains peaceful". This is an expansive, beautiful cemetery that is a cornerstone of JP with zero history of vandalism, etc. No need to instill a rule like this. Just a shame.

Is just a beatiful and relaxing place.

Was there earlier today with my sister. We have relatives that are buried there. It is an beautiful and peaceful looking cemetery. I like how they have a pond there. Also there some fantastic looking monuments there as well. The Fern Hill part of the cemetery has 3 large tablets with people's name on engraved on them. It is a beautiful peaceful area for spreading ashes as well.
