The Anglican Church at Bath, reputed to be the first place of worship in the Incorporated City. There are no records of its early history. During the 1865 Morant Bay Rebellion when one of its rectors was slain the documents were reportedly placed in a bottle and buried in a vault behind the church. Built by the English, only those in the upper class were allowed to worship there. Community members still worship there up to today's date even though it's in need of renovation now. It is also close to the famous Bath mineral spring in the same rural community.
One of the oldest churches in the area that was made during the time of plantation owners. The church is still active and persons still worship there in this modern day.
This is a Historic Building...look it up.
