C&WJ Co-operative Credit Union

I have been doing business with this company for over 15 years. Never had a bad experience. I have 2 concerns however; firstly, they do not post motor vehicle loan information online like other credit unions. With other credit unions you can simply check loan interest rates, pay back duration etc based on the age of the vehicle and calculate your prospective loan as well. They need to understand that these are services that clients truly appreciate. Secondly, it would be great to have a portmore branch.

I went to make a deposit to my c&wj account using my banking card from another bank, my online statement showed that the money was taken out however c&wj’s machine showed that my card declined. They advised me that I was not the first person and I have to go to my bank to get a statement showing the transaction before they can add the money to my credit union account. This was not my error, clearly it was c&wj’s error but they didn’t care about that I had to sacrifice time and money to have my issue resolved. Worst experience ever, I am considering closing my account and I will tell all my friends about my experience. Poor customer service. This was the downtown location. They need proper training.

I thought the whole day wait to do the simplest business in the credit union would have been a thing of the past now that c&wj took over the St. Elizabeth Co-op Credit Union but the reverse is true. The process has now become longer. If you don't have a whole day to spend in the credit union DON'T GO THERE!!!
