Hunter's Rest Villa

Worst place ever. Will never return. The owner and employees are not accommodating. No smoking signs on premises yet when reported that other guests were smoking , nothing was done as my wife is asthmatic which bothered her and the owner didn’t care as the smoking continued. The place is run down, pool is unclean. The room we stayed in, the painting was unfinished and shabby. The room also leaked whenever it rained and the plumbing sucks as well. Some of the towels provided were torn. Hot water is available only sometimes. The price provided on website upon arrival we were charged more. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The casual home-like grounds and settings of Hunter's Rest is its own niche, & can be the reason for many to return. This small bed-&-breakfast should take measures to not make a bad first impression -- do not offer room to guests when you already know that the plumbing in room is broken; install air-conditioner in every room & not only in some -- Jamaica is a very hot climate -- no a/c & guests will immediately leave. 1 of the ladies offered us food options to add to our breakfast menu; we were able to have just what we like to eat -- a plus.

Quiet and scenic, great service

The staff is very courteous and friendly and the place is beautiful. I got married there many years ago. The owner is very winsome. I would recommend persons who are planning to get married to choose Hunter's Rest.

I love my stay, everyone was courteous and place was well kept. Ochi Rios is very close so perfect location stay.
