Caribic House Montego Bay

Has a great view, super conveniently located and clean. However, you must hike up 57 stairs to get that view lol. Also, the walls are paper thin, did not bother me too much as we were not in the room too often. Guarded key in front gate with 24 hour surveillance was a nice touch.

Being from Montego Bay I wanted a no frills, clean, and convenient place to stay that's right on the Strip. This place was everything I asked. The views on the third floor were amazing. I had the best ocean view and got to see some really beautiful sunsets, which I enjoyed on my private balcony. The room was up to date, wifi and the a/c worked perfectly. The only downside was going up and down those skinny spiral steps, and if you have luggage, its even more scarier.

I had a lovely stay at Caribic house. Cleanliness & Amenities: The room was small but clean and it came with a fridge. I liked the pillow and the bed. I was on the 2nd floor with the balcony so it was so relaxing to go outside to sit down at one of the tables and do my work. Also, the location could not be beat. It was only 5 min from the airport. It was conveniently located next to a suite of restaurants and even a Starbucks. It was also only a block from the beach. Would highly recommend for a single woman traveling alone who is on a budget but she wants somewhere relaxing to stay in town.,

Rooms were spacious but very old. Lighting sucked and there was only AC in one of he rooms since I got one with a kitchen. Too much money spent for what it was and they only clean every 3 days. The only good things is location. 1-2 minute walk to the beach.

Location was the best part since it is right across from the beautiful beach so you can get there early and beat the crowds. At night, not so much so I wouldn't recommend single travelers to be walking too far. Initially the check in process was very disorganized and took a long time just to confirm the booking. The rooms were spacious--we had a full bed in one room and two twins in the other. Only one room had AC but the windows have openings and the curtains only partially close them so it can still be very humid. There were also lots of bugs coming in and out. It was worth the price, but I would book a nicer place next time I go.
