Marriott SeaCastles Penthouse

Due to the Global Pandemic my trip was cancelled, I had reached out to staff to inform them of my flight cancellation and that I would not be able to travel and was requested a refund, it took several emails before I got a response and was told they would have to do 2 equal payments via Pay Pal, I provided my Pay Pal information and received half of my deposit. I then was told it would take a few weeks to get the other half, being there understanding person that I am I said no problem... this was back in June we are now in August and I still haven’t gotten the rest of my money, I’ve emailed several time as no response. I would never do business with this establishment. It’s unfortunate because I was looking forward to perhaps in the future rebooking a vacation here but with their business practices or lack there of... I would never and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone either.

Nice place

Flat was nice and clean, but the overall complex need renovations, the swimming pool is out of order!

The apartment itself is really nice, once you get pass the outside. However, when it rains, the ceiling leaks from 3 different places in the apartment. We went without water from 8pm until about 4am. The internet goes in & out, & the hot water does not last long.Once we contacted Delroy, he hung up in our face & didnt show up until the next day. Antonia & her husband owns the place, but we never seen them. We spoke with Antonia all way up until the trip, & spoke with her husband when we arrived. Delroy took our payment in cash & left. Neither of them offered us any money back or another room for the inconvenience. They simply asked us were we leaving. There is nothing in the area so u will need a taxi to go anywhere. We were told we can walk to the street & fan a taxi down, but we were not comfortable doing that. The famous "Hip Strip" is a bunch of soverniors small shops that sell basically the same thing. You can visit doctors cave beach for a $6 fee, that was pleasant. We also hit Margartivalle early like 12pm & the service was extremely slow for it to be about a hand full of people there. Our waitress then asked for a tip. Overall, I would not recommend any one to stay at Seacastles you will truly get what you pay for. I'm really big on reading reviews & basing my decision off them when traveling, so I hope this helps.
