Boston Police District E-13 Jamaica Plain

Incompetent police force. Home break in in which police were called with the suspect still inside. Guess what? They showed up 20 min later. Disgusting excuse of a police force. Lazy and rude

These officers offer no protection to the Jamaica Plain area. I called the station and requested an officer the the scene of an accident and the operator disregarded the issue even after I advised that the other driver threatened me with a gun. To top of the lack of professionalism the operator hung up on me. There the most laziest police force you will ever witness. They only work based on connections with their local towing companies and pizza shops. It’s ridiculous what police officers use to be compared to what they are now. Ofcourse thats nothing new especially with the news we see today with how they act. Luckily we can record them and show the public what they truly are, which is far from anything good or useful.

I called this office today to make a complaint about an electrician who has been harassing me after I put a review on Yelp talking about him not performing the services I paid him for. The woman I spoke to on the phone said I would have to come in in person to do this. When I got there, there were two women sitting at the front desk, one younger one and one older one. I ended up speaking to the older one. I explained that the electrician I wanted to register a complaint about has called and threatened me repeatedly, and has even come to my building and tried to get me to let him back into my home.  I also received a letter from his lawyer about the Yelp review. The woman at the desk told me that it was probably the electrician's wife who wrote the letter and I should just ignore it. She also told me I was "just as bad as he was" because I had been updating my review every time he did something new. She told me that the police didn't handle this kind of thing, and that I should stop updating Yelp because the electrician " knows where I live." In her opinion, coming to my house, making repeated threatening phone calls, and impersonating a lawyer are nothing to bother the police about. This woman and whoever it was who told me to come down to the police station displayed quite a lack of concern. I realize that I did not have a violent crime committed against me in this instance, but it is concerning nonetheless, and I was not actually trying to get the police to do anything other than to allow me to put on record what this man has been doing to me. He may escalate his behavior or do something worse to another customer/victim. I didn't think that asking to put something on record was too much to ask, buy I got a very clear message today that it was.

Very rude and disrespectful to civilians. I was cut off as soon as i started speaking because the officer thought he knew what i was going to say. I dont know whats up with the women officers in here but they definitely dont have any respect. STOP TREATING CIVILIANS that PAY YOUR BILLS LIKE they are criminals.

Nonsense. I tried calling regarding packages being stolen in the area from myself and neighbors and boxes being left in our yard. The operator said that there were bigger problems than stolen packages. It is a crime, so I thought it should be reported. She responded that I should worry about my own packages and make sure I was home to receive them. Horrible.
