Jaquar Villas

Simply amazing. Went there with some friends from work. The best time I have had in ages. Tucked away in a tranquil setting but lots of fun.

What a wonderful place! I have been coming here for years on family vacations and each time we all leave happy and rejuvenated. My family can be quite picky and the staff is always able to accommodate our needs which I am very thankful for. We especially appreciate their ability to put on special events/celebrations with ease. The location is great and the private beach is unbeatable. Looking forward to our next visit!

Have stayed here 5 years running. Fantastic food..staff are very accommodating. Wonderful view of the sea and private beach available. Lots of room for big groups and they assist with transportation if required. Way better than staying at a resort any day.

I've been a visitor of Jaquar Villas a couple of times now - and intend to keep the visits coming to the lovely Runaway Bay whenever I have a chance. Our large groups have always thoroughly enjoyed their stay within both Palashia and Tangerine villas, and the owner of the property has always been accommodating to various requests we need to make our stay 5 stars! We've asked for all types of things including amazing food (plus food restrictions), helping us planning parties and events, access to a private beach, access to a driver who takes us to see what the lovely Jamaica has to offer - and the staff is so pleasant and fun to work with - sometimes even having creative solutions we might not have thought of. Thank you for everything - can't wait until I am up in the mountains enjoying Jamaican coffee and that wonderful view of the nature and the ocean again soon :D

The facility is definitely not ready for prime time. Villa's are dark and dirty. Many dresser doors don't have knobs so the drawers either stay open on get stuck. No hangers anywhere. Bugs and cobwebs everywhere. Many lights and lamps missing bulbs. Showers don't drain. Toilet runs continuously. Outside of yoga pavillion (with concrete floor) there is an abundance of trash, appears to be years worth, on the outside of concrete blocks. There are dogs everywhere right outside of the resort that bark and howl all night and all day. **** One shining light were the Cooks. They are wonderful but were not equipped to cook for vegans and gluten free people. They went over the top to help and accommodate.***** The private beach is not a short walk but about an hour walk, up and down hills. If the owner is truly as magical as others have said, she should've been there to greet us and make sure we were happy. Pictures are available.
