Eden Sands Villa

What a lovely place ! Staff is great. stayed there for a couple nights. Rooms were clean and well kept. service was excellent which is hard to find. The owners mel and nathan are fantastic they came and checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. Cannot say enough if you have not been here you are missing something !! a must go to we will def visit again!

I'm writing this to express my frustration, not actually to rate the place. I only experienced the booking and aftermath, did not get the opportunity to enjoy the property. Since I could not go any further unless I selected a star, the review will appear as 1 star. I was trying to find a vacation place for my family spanning March 1-6, 2020. I read the online reviews for this place and they all read wonderful. My booking took place on February 28, paid the required initial payment, and received the confirmation at that time. The rest payment was completed on February 1. On February 2, I received a message from the owner that the reservation had to be canceled due to a simultaneous booking. We booked the property through Expedia. It somehow then went to HomeAway. The message from Expedia on the cancelation indicated that the cancelation was most likely due to insufficient payment (how come?). I'm not sure where and how things fell through the cracks but would like to give some advice to those who may book the place in the future: MAYBE FIND A WAY TO FIGURE OUT YOU RESERVATION IS REALLY SECURED AND HAVE SOME DECENT BACKUP PLANS.

I hate the jellyfish in their water at certain times of the evening... other than that, perfect.. However, the staff was awesome with their first aid treatment.

Really cozy villa on the beach with a "home away from home" feel. Excellent staff and amazing hosts. Our first choice in Ochi Rios everytime !!
