Annex East Japanese

You must try the snapper roll! Absolutely lovely, their sushi was great overall. The wait time was pretty long because they are normally busy. But really nice place. Need to improve on customer service as well.

Normally a good experience but seems as if they were overwhelmed with the amount of customers they had. Food took forever and then it was well overcooked meat was tough and chewy. The sushi was good though...... the only reason they didn't get a lower mark is because I have had better experiences

February 14, 2021. Overall impression, Disappointing and Horrible service! I know this is a busy time for most restaurants and some owners put things in place for the unexpected however, Annex obviously didn’t do that. I left angrier than I’ve ever been and if I could give it a zero star rating I would. For over half an hour I called, those calls added up to over 30 times, no answer. When I arrived I called again and watched the phone ring beside a worker at the cash register and it was being ignored. In addition to that no one greeted me, no sanitation/ alcohol for my hands was offered nor did I see one. They ran out of rice and instead of offering something else like a teriyaki chicken salad or any other alternative the waitress says she can’t help me. Then they said no more orders, this was at 5 pm when I was told earlier in the day that orders closed off at 5:30 pm. So the lack of good customer service was prominent. I like the East Japanese chains but this needs to be looked at.

Loved the fact that they had an extensive menu plus it was my fist time trying sushi...I like it😊

The service was ok staff was really attentive, however as a first timer with Japanese the only think I liked were the dumplings... I had the lobster ramen and the lobster was over cooked and bitter, I had to send it back but over all it wasn’t a bad experience.
