We had agreed prior to her passing that this funeral home would be given the charge for Mom's arrangements. The attendants who came to collect her body at home were gentle with us and very professional. They also gave us advice on how to proceed to ensure a smooth process. Ms. Sydia Marriott dealt with our case st the office and being the charge for arrangements, I had frequent interactions with her. She had a calming demeanour and was accomdating of our requests. She too provided guidance along the way and all in all the experience was seamless. On the day of viewing and burial, Mr. Wayne Petrie was our designated driver for the hearse and he was a peach; professional, helpful, caring and patient. He provided tripods in the chapel for Mom's photos and assisted with the entire set up....absolutely loved his personal touch and eye for detail. Recognizing that Mom's name was incorrectly spelt at the burial he took it on himself to take the sign to the Meadowrest office to have it corrected prior to our departure from the Park. He didn't have to but he did. Be advised however, that card utilization comes at a 3% fee (this was a turn off) and so cash/ manager's cheque/direct transfers are recommended. I do recommend Roman's Funeral Home Ltd based on location, ambiance, professionalism and service.

My Dad for years planned his funeral to the T,,, whenever we drove pass this funeral home he would say, this is where I want to go when die, nowhere else, well my Dad has died and I called Roman, very professional workers, my only negative thought was that the Hurst that retrieved Dad's body @ home did not have any straps to hold the body whilst the vehicle is in motion,,,, that was a no no no!!!! Otherwise clean, professional, emphatic staff, I'm satisfied , Dad got his wish n I know he would be pleased. For the most part.
