Oh magnificent look

STAY AWAY!!! I gave this 1 star because that it the lowest I could. This was a wolf in sheep's clothing. Pictures looked great. WE were told by the owner we would be pleased with the booking. We booked both villas to capacity for destination wedding. We arrived there and the villa was run down. NO OPERATING SPA. DIRTY POOL. No cable on the first night. Villa 2 was under renovation the kitchen counters were ripped off the wall no sink no microwave fridge pulled and unplugged from wall. . NO TVs AT ALL in villa 2. No cable. Stained bed linen. Not enough towels. Gym equipment was rusty torn up and machines did not work.Porch outside of gym was rotting and looked unsafe. In villa 1 ancient tvs. No TV in 2 bedrooms. no double bed occupancy. Maybe 3 tv channels none of which were sports channels Tv remotes dead. Peeling ceiling paint. 1 remote had corroded batteries my nephew (the groom) found out the hard way. Flaky wifi if at all. Insects in bed. Ants everywhere which bit us. NO ac in living room.Simple things as paper towel holder broken in kitchen.Dishwasher not working. Master bathroom shower in villa 1 did not work properly which eventually totally stopped working by the time we left. Understaffed. The staff that was there was over worked. No laundry done until we asked about it. And then only had laundry done once in 10 days we were there. 1 iron and 1 ironing board for 2 villas. Small and dingy "beach towels" which were bath towels. Beach was not walking distance. When we did make it to the beach they were rocky and full of sea weed. We contacted the owner and told him of our dissatisfaction and he dodged us. WE asked for a refund so we could move and were told we we would get a refund when we returned to the US. We were basically held hostage as we needed the money to move somewhere else. We are still waiting for a refund...I have reached out to this owner daily and he continues to ignore me.We were taken advantage of. What is most disappointing is the lack of accountability and responsibility by property owner. STAY AWAY!!!!
