JP Lock and Security

Our experience with JP Lock could not have been easier or more enjoyable. Within a short time after contacting them, they provided us with an estimate and came out to assess our situation -- which involved re-keying a few external locks to our three-unit building. Brian was a delight to work with -- he came out on a Saturday to assess everything and returned the following Tuesday with the necessary equipment / materials. They are efficient, friendly and fair -- what more could you ask for! Would highly recommend.

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said by other reviewers -- wonderful, friendly, timely service. When I showed some interest in the lock Brian was installing, he took the time to show me every step of the installation. He makes the time to chat and it was great to learn his story. Everything about our interaction was simple and enjoyable.

Trish was great with communication and scheduling. Brian, the locksmith, was able to re-key all of the locks in our new home, including one we didn't have a key to, which presented a bit of a challenge. His persistence paid off and we were able to get them all done without having to replace any hardware. Very professional and loves dogs.

These guys are great! New to this part of JP but very experienced. Skilled locksmiths are hard to find but Brian is great, he took care of my broken lock and was so easy to work with. I also needed keys made and Trish took care of it, even a japanese motorcycle key that had to be ordered was no problem. They are super friendly and community focused and are a welcome addition to this and all parts of the Boston region. Oh, and their dog, Harley, at the shop is the coolest!

What I love about JP Lock & Security is their timely response, professional and honest approach to service and business! When I called Brian and Trish for our new business in Boston because the contractor on the job fell short on their delivery of our needs and they were not responding to our calls for the changes we needed to secure our building and to prepare for our opening! Whether it was quotes, on site visits, random calls, text, emails, their response was quick, accurate and very authentic. Our needs were for a 4 story entertainment venue with multiple entry points, safes and limited access rooms. Brain handled all of this without worry and in a timely, clean and very supportive way, and was very understanding and considerate of our timeline. Brian and Trish will never steer you wrong or charge you for something you don't need and will always give it to you straight. I appreciate the clarity and patience provided with the flexibility we needed, and they kept us updated along the way. What they ordered, if it was back ordered, sought our input on alternatives and so much more. Their recommendations for proper equipment, and to be compliant with any laws and state policies was welcomed and a time saver, as it prevented us from having to do the same job twice.
