Calypso Villa

Great get away from the mondaine. If you're looking for a place to stay while in Jamaica. It's a great place to stay.

It was off to it's self. Very quiet and safe. Very clean. The owner and host were very helpful and friendly. Just a wonderful place to be. Wish I could live there. The sea was just across the street.

Irina's place is absolutely amazing!!! Whether you are looking for a private slice of paradise to relax or the perfect base for exploring Jamaica, Calypso Villa is it. The villa is simple and comfortable, the ocean is right at your footstep (amazing sunsets!), and Lilliput is such a fun town to explore. Irina is a responsive, friendly host who offers incredible trips to see Jamaica right from the Villa -and you can go snorkeling right out your front door! We saw the sunken ship, tons of fish, a starfish, and even a pufferfish! You will be addicted to the front porch view and never want to leave. I hope we are able to visit again soon! Seriously this is the place you want to stay. My highest recommendation!

A great little villa, especially for the price. When I visit somewhere, I like to be near attractions, but not right in the middle of them. Calypso Villa is perfect for that! Some nights during my stay I would head out to the nearby social areas and get jerk chicken or hang out with the locals. Other nights I could simply walk out of the villa, and be right on the beach, with nobody around to bother me. The ocean is literally a stone's throw away. The unit I rented on the second floor had a private balcony, which was great for sitting and watching the waves while drinking Jamaican rum. Every now and then while I was out there, a tiny gecko or two would scamper by on the wall. :) Comfy apartment, great views, very kind and accommodating host! I would definitely recommend this place!
