DANGER) PLEASE BE AWARE DANGER. DO NOT BOOK THIS VILLA.My family and I booked the entire villa for 10 nights. April 19-29 2019. We had 4 kids ages 4 and up in our party. Living on the property is Ms. Keisha the house keeper, she is very nice. The gardener Kevin and also another young man, which we weren't aware of, he's between the ages of 21-28, who stayed in the villa the entire time. We felt very uncomfortable with his presence, but we made the best of the situation. On April 27 my husband and I decided to go out on the town, we invited Kevin the gardener to accompany us, which he agreed. We left the villa around 11:30 PM and returned around 2:30 AM. As we pulled up in the driveway of the villa, proceeding to exit the van, a MASKED GUNMAN approached us, he pointed a GUN in my husband's face, he demanded his money. After he took my husband's money, he then pointed the GUN in my face and demanded my pocket book. Which was a designer Chanel bag valued over $2000 US, along with the money that was in it. We followed all of his instructions, being scared and terrified for our lives. After he robbed us he then run and escaped on the grounds of the property. This situation could have been worst. I give GOD all the glory and praise that we walked away with our lives. After pushing the panic button, the security team took over 45 minutes to 1 hour to show up. We called the police station several times, they didn't show up until 9:30- 10:00 AM Sunday morning. However my husband and I went to the local police station and made a report. The owner Kristin B. was very incooperative, insensitive and showed little remorse with us being robbed, on her property and also refused to help with replacing our valuables. My husband and I believe that we were set up. But we leave everything in GOD hands. FOR THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY, PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT DAVELYN VILLA, IF YOU'VE BOOKED PLEASE GET A REFUND AND STAY IN A HOTEL. THIS PROPERTY ISN'T SAFE, THERE'S NO CAMERAS NO SECURITY. Houses within the Ironshore neighborhood are being broken into and robbed. No one should have to experience such an ordeal while paying several hundreds of dollar's for a villa, when SAFETY isn't the owner first priority for her customers.
