Zenith Boarding

The service at this place is absolutely atrocious. There is zero care about customers and several breeches of contract. I strongly advise you to seek accommodations else where.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY STUDENT TO BOARD WITH ZENITH!!!! I am a university student who lives in rural Jamaica and I heard of them and decided to get accommodation there. From the start the service was extremely poor, they don’t answer calls and they don’t call back etc. However I got through, signed the contract and protocols and moved in. Since day one there has been issues. The contract states that weekly cleaning services will be provided as well as lawn maintenance. Upon arrival, the lawn was overgrown with weeds and the place was unkempt. The bathroom was very dirty; they didn’t think to have it cleaned for the arrival of new tenants. They also install surveillance in the common areas as to prevent us from having friends over. After three weeks, there was a Whatsapp message sent containing light and water rates to be paid. The property manager refused to send the physical bill that was from the utility company so there was no way of knowing whether or not the cost that was sent was the real thing or we were being robbed. Upon request of the JPS account to pay the bill, the manager did not comply. She did not answer her phone nor did she reply to text. Eventually, the electricity was cut because we were unable to acquire the account information from her. We then called the owner for the property who then proceeded to tell us that it was our fault even though the manager was avoiding communication with us. And to add to this, they manger then said to us at 6pm that we cannot stay there because of the cut so we have to find else where to go, Totally unacceptable!!! I do not recommend this place. They obviously do not care for the well-being of their tenants and it’s a big robbery!!
