I'm fairly sure that this is now a hall for UWI Mona WJC, but it once was Buccaneer Beach Hotel. I was fortunate enough to able to stay here for a month, and let me tell you, it was amazing. All the rooms are double rooms unfortunately, however they're all pretty big and include both a bathroom and a balcony......yes, a balcony. The laundry situation is amazing as it's always open as well. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer and the kitchen is kinda far.

Formerly the Buccaneer Beach Hotel, the property has been acquired by the UWI to be used as part of its accommodation for students at the Western Jamaica campus as well as medical, dental and nursing students rotating at the Cornwall Regional and Falmouth hospitals. All rooms are double occupancy with double beds, a bathroom and balcony included in the rooms. Washing/drying facilities are 24/7 with tokens costing $100 each, washroom and kitchen are on the ground floor, with fridges and microwaves available on the 3rd floor as well. There are common study areas and a pool. Beach access and numerous things to do nearby (Doctors Cave beach, Margaritaville et al). Adjoining restaurant--Mystery Bar & lounge has delicious food for OK prices. Wi-Fi depends on how close your room is to the router (ranges from OK to very poor). Otherwise, a decent place to stay.
