In order to go see the Perseid meteor shower in the summer, I made a reservation online and stayed overnight at the attached accommodation. First of all, let's talk about the daytime park itself, but since it's an astronomical park, the grass is sloping and ball play is quite difficult. Isn't the playground equipment so small that children are not satisfied with playing? However, the real power of this park is at night. Since the gate at the front entrance closes at 23:00, those who do not stay can not enjoy it for a long time, but conversely, guests (about 10 groups at most) can monopolize the vast grass slope at midnight. The northwest direction is not so visible due to the light of Osaka, but the other directions, especially the starry sky in the southwest direction where the lawn plaza spreads, is the best. Guests can use not only the lawn plaza in front but also the star observatory on the roof of the accommodation. (Since it's summer, the rooftop of the asphalt was like a bedrock bath, so I enjoyed it on the lawn) The facility's response was also polite, and when I contacted them to increase the number of people on the day, I was able to accept them. There is also a communal bathhouse, and I am glad that the service is quite fulfilling, such as the ability to use the washing machine. Although there are not many trains, it is within walking distance from the station and there is a parking lot so access is quite good. As a general comment It's not good for a park, but I think it's a good place to stay to enjoy the stars. The only other regrettable thing was that on summer nights there were too many mosquitoes to concentrate on seeing the stars... Well, this is unavoidable, but lol

Visit to see the Perseus meteor shower. Arrived at 22:00 and parked near the entrance. There was a parking lot, but it was exclusively for guests, and everyone had been kicked out. If you open the chair and look at it, you will get the first shooting star. He moved out because he closed the gate near the entrance. There are many roadsides in the vicinity, so I managed to park in an empty place and open the seat to observe. The surroundings are pitch dark, so it looks good, but there are many people. I want the park to be open when the meteor shower is visible.

It was nice at night and the stars looked so beautiful! I was glad that the Japanese-style room where I stayed had a feeling of a camp! [In a good way! ]

It's a very good spot because you can easily go by car and the stars look relatively beautiful. It was fun to shoot the starry sky for the first time.

It is located on a mountain, with a spacious lawn, and a very pleasant space. There is a long slide using the slope of the mountain. Once, I want to slide (laughs) The air is clean and refreshing. You can also meet cute squirrels. It is best to walk while listening to the sound of practicing Amane Taiko from the meeting hall below.
