very nice environment. well educated students performing their good courtesy and friendly.a modern styled college in simple, neat and tidy.

Interesting architecture. On the casp of the hills. Free student exhibitions. A little cantine with affordable lunch. Walk up the stairs and feel like you walk into the forrest, find great spots to rest for a while, read or view the city.

A school that has been selling to have a school building at the residence of Yun Dong-ju, a student poet who was born in the Korean Peninsula and died in prison during the war. (Highland Takahara School Building) As of 2020, there is a fierce conflict with Kyoto City in a trial over the change of school name, providing the citizens with a disappointing topic. The name of the bus stop is still treated as "Kyoto University of Art and Design" by the city of Kyoto. (Impression that "Geitan" is the most common among residents) Personally, I recognize it as a disappointing case that has greatly reduced the image of art (especially contemporary art), along with the "Aichi Triennale" problem that has evolved into the governor's recall movement. The phrase "legally okay" can only be taken to mean that there are no other problems. I don't feel like Kyoto at all. A word of discomfort. -------- Topographically, it is located at the point where the mountain is most aggressive against Shirakawa-dori. Or rather, I was impressed that I decided to put an art university here 😯 I just want you to do a good job for Japan and for the world 🙏 Take care of Japan ❗

Visited in October 2014. Visited by schooling at a university that I used to go to by communication. Great environment and building ... good!
