We visited for the cherry blossom festival, and it was lovely! The entrance fee is super cheap and it wasn’t too busy. There were a variety of snack stalls out and the staff were all very friendly! At dusk they also illuminated the cherry trees. We even got a glimpse of Mount Fuji!
Cherry blossom come earlier this year. In early March I visited this park and It was fulled by cherry blossom. There is cherry blossom festival. You can go there by provided bus and will stop every 30 minutes. It was rain when I came there, but I can still enjoy the cherry blossom here.
Best place to see Sakura in February 🌸
It is an herb garden (park) at the end of a steep slope.
Illumination events are held in winter, and the parking lot is 500 yen. There is a timely pattern and temperature measurement.
Is the capacity of the parking lot about 50 cars? The road at Matsuda Station is quite narrow, and low-down cars may rub down due to the slope.
It was night because I visited by illuminations, but the Tomei Expressway is below me, and the city lights of Odawara city area spread out beyond that.
The altitude is so high that the night view is very beautiful.
There is also an observatory and a souvenir corner, so you can enjoy various ways, not just walking.
I think it's an illumination that the town is doing its best.
Since it is only in winter, it is recommended to stop by Route 246.
I visited the village of Kokia on October 21, 2020. This week was the peak of the year, and the timing was difficult, but it was very beautiful.
You can enjoy Mt. Fuji and Kokia.
Climbing from the bottom is a long way. It is very easy to take a private car or taxi to the parking lot.
