My son may go on to school, so I thought about what kind of place it was and drove around the campus. It's on top of a mountain, so it's inconvenient to go to school. If you are absorbed in research, it may be difficult to get down to the foot of the mountain. There are many research buildings bearing famous companies in Kyoto, and it feels like a top-class university. Since there is no element that feels history, it may not be interesting to go sightseeing if you are not involved. I like visiting university campuses a lot, but Hokkaido University was nice.
