I used to love to go to this place for lunch when I worked in the Ginza area. Their salad dressing doesn't have added sugar, which is a rare find, so their pre-prepared salads and healthier options were perfect when I was on a diet. When I wasn't on a diet, sitting down in the cafe and ordering their tuna melt was a spiritual experience. French fries are also SO GOOD. I am a baker and in 2 years of living in Tokyo I have yet to find a bakery of this type that beats the quality of bread found at The City Bakery.

Good bakery. I especially like their corn bread, pretzel croissant, and mackerel sandwich. But everything is good, really. The atmosphere is nice, the service is good. Be noted that during the lunch time, till probably 2 pm it can be pretty busy. The only minus, it is a bit on the pricey side, but it is worth the money.

A bit on the pricey side, but they offer really yummy breads! They also have a cafe area where we can eat in the bread we bought from their bakery. Highly recommend the pretzel croissant (their no 1 recommendation), lemon pie, & also bread bowl chowder!

Came for lunch thinking was just going to get some bread but noticed it also has a Cafe where you could get salads and sandwiches. Place wasn't too busy on a Sunday at lunch time, so could easily find a seat. Ordered some salads, soups, sandwich and wrap all which were very tasty... Realised when I went to pay that it was quite expensive. Definitely worth trying

Good food, delicious drinks. You can order bread and pastries from the cafe or buy meals for dining. The hot chocolate is particularly good. As for the atmosphere, I usually come on weekends and don't find it crowded. There's a long table with sockets for people who like getting work done at cafes.
